After watching one of my favourite movies "FORREST GUMP",today few thoughts struck my mind.....
Well!!!!as far as my thoughts are concerned,the doubts run in a tangled web called "FIXTURE vs PROBABILITY"..
Life may be a series of predefined events..like a fixed design or some random sprinkles of events having infinite possibilities...
Well...some say everyone is destined,some say it is just a random probability...If at all it is a random probability.....WILL IT QUESTION THE EXISTENCE OF GOD????,if it is a design who made it??what "GOD"has to do with this design,if at all he is concerned with this design...he must be definitely related to this so called "MATERIAL WORLD", and definitely "had,have,and will have" to take the sides of so called "GOOD and EVIL" of this materialistic world,which makes him a "SUPERNATURAL BEING" with emotions who has no control over himself...
If people depict GOD as an emotionless "ENTITY",he has nothing to do with taking sides of what is done in this MATERIALISTIC world,so,PRAYING,PLEADING,PRAISING OR ABUSING..etc.won't affect him.
THEN WHY RITUALS ARE PERFORMED???.If at all rituals have hidden socio-scientific reasons,why do people blindly follow them without sense, without even willing to know why do they practice those rituals???.
Well!!!! if at all it has become mandatory to perform few things in brief history of time,why didn't anyone question it??
"Does one has to always surrender his self respect,to some PROOF LESS SUPERNATURALITY,a SENSELESS AXIOM,SOME RANDOM CURVE which is blindly believed to be a STRAIGHT LINE,and forced to be believed as a straight line.
Why does no human questions it???
Why does always a harmless creature or frankly put in true words "a powerless or a weak creature" which appears to be coward in nature,which in other word "a creature put to utter damnation" is used as a standard for humans,(lambs...sheep).
So is human an utter coward...??? or some creature just born to pretend to be "nice" and beg some un-real super hero(GOD) for forgiveness,forsaking his own identity and his self-respect...
If at all god wants human to grow up to him... why does human should beg,pray and surrender????
"Human " should be a brave entity unlike sheep...rather be a lion!!!to tear stupidity,cowardice into pieces...
"Question should be his weapon...reason and answers be his targets...
LOGIC should be his support,strength...he should be able to face the truth with the strength of heart...to stand naked in sunlight...not to grope in darkness,hoping someone will come to rescue..."
If at all life is a mere sprinkled ...droplets of rain...there is no need to ponder pon the meaning of life...other than to do "one's own work,at that moment".

Hey your blog is really good. But you seem to ponder so much about religion and existence of god which has been a matter of discussion or rather a debate for many years. I completely agree about the blind faith towards few rituals. But not all rituals go meaningless right? There are few rituals which really have great essence to teach the mankind and moreover, Hinduism is itself not considered to be a religion. It is rather called as SANATANA DHARMA which contains a set of rules for DHARMA for the welfare of the mankind..
ReplyDeletethanks for viewing my blog...actually i'm not into blaming religion or god... i didn't say the rituals are meaningless...i only meant to say that people are blindly following these rituals with out even understanding the back drop of it or the actual meaning of the ritual... the basic thought underlying this post is "why do people follow rituals or whatever without completely understanding the inner meaning of it???" I just want humans to question the unquestioned to make sense to what they are doing.
ReplyDeletei think one of the main thing to be kept in our mind is we "ought to follow the rituals" developed by ancestors without makin at least any minor changes in the method of following them with knowing the reason r without just because they have never said in any ritual any way of life which does nt help the life r which inhibits us!!!!
ReplyDeletea small example can be taken that is in the olden days we wer ought to clean the house and it s surroundings with cow dung which is now known to kill many of the bacteria and fungi dat usually prosper in the cold climate during nights
and we wer ought to clean the entrance door with turmeric which has been accepted as the best antibiotic!
so if the rituals developed by our ancestors if followed r enough wid r widout knowing the reason but do try to know the perfect way which was suggested by our ancestors because following the rituals in the which is just easy 4 us doesnt do any good!!!!!! do remember!!!!!!!!!
the worst case presently happening is the scenario coming to cleaning the surroundings of home!!!

SECONDLY we are nt either using turmeric for the entrance and using yellow painted entrances which doesnt hav d effect of turmeric atleast
According to me God is just a synonym for faith...No matter whatever form u give it to the mysterious entity,it serves the purpose...and in another context the image created throughout the ages as a superior power who judges,rescues and guides his true devotees is to just contain the most intriguing "Human brain" beyond arrogance and self destruction...Guys,it may sound foolish but I believe the conception of god and his so called "super powers" are responsible in its own way for sustainability of human race..
ReplyDeleteNo one denies the fact that the partial credit for peaceful co existence between the man and nature around him goes to the super power...Just a simple belief of the "super power" subdues the negative and destructive thoughts in most of the people..I'm totally against the current potrayal and ideologies of most religious fanatics but just a small faith in "SUPER POWER" definitely helps in understanding our existence and to lead a superior life...Every mind should be given a free space to perceive the life around him in his own way just by exposure...No one should be forced with any ideology to enhance his social or spiritual thought process...Let the mind flow after a certain age when it is capable of handling itself...
ReplyDelete@satya:so "if the rituals developed by our ancestors if followed r enough wid r widout knowing the reason but do try to know the perfect way which was suggested by our ancestors" dude check this line... dude are we robots to follow the things that are told to us... with out knowing the reason...if the first man who said earth is round has not questioned the religious authorities... we would still have been in the thought of earth is flat... !!!do you understand what i mean... questioning is human tool... it is the key to open future.. the very second human stops questioning...i think it is the last step towards future...!!!towards wisdom...if you want to follow blindly with out knowing the reason ...they i say you lost your sense of understanding the mere fact that there is a truth and there is a false!!!!
ReplyDelete@abhi:i agree with you... god is the synonym for faith in helpless and weak situations....a little hope on some "super power" would do no harm... but we have to make sure that it does not become our weakness...people should not forget that actually we get happiness through our actions.. not by following some "baba" or some "kal**".Even i do believe in some super power maintaining this most uncertain world in a certain manner...but it has nothing to do with our lives... it gave us brains..and to the maximum extent we should use it... in case of hope we may rely on the "super power" to ease our emotional load.
